According to the terms of Ordinance NAP.SUMAS.OPR.005, December 2021, the services of washing and cleaning of holds can only be performed by pre-qualified and accredited companies.

Some companies to act with low price, do not have their own or updated machinery, insurance, nor even a license to operate and a license from environmental agencies. Beware! The fines for using this type of supplier are high and can lead to your vessel being blacklisted by ANTAQ.

CARGO SHIPS strictly follows the “Maritime Authority Rules for Water Pollution Caused by Vessels, Platforms, and their Support Facilities” (NORMAM- 20/DPC), the “Maritime Authority Rules for Underwater Activities” (NORMAM- 15/DPC), DIPRE Ordinance No. 128.2018, as well as the recent Ordinance NAP.SUMAS. OPR.016, of December 2022, which regulates Vessel Maintenance Activities.
